Caribbean Sea Crossing takes approx 48 hours from Aruba due north to Santo Domingo, there we will stay on board in a marina for 3 to 4 days, with the opportunity to visit the country. Than back again to Aruba. Another 45 hours NON STOP open sea sailing to get back, all depending on the sea and wind conditions. Planning: maybe early july 2009, or middle of Dec 2009, or Jan/Feb 2010. Price idea per person approx 800 dollars based on 8 crew total, excl food/drinks. You'll be away from Aruba approx 8 days. A real sailing trip: distance 2 x 350 nautical miles. Please call or email..

Aruba to Dominican Republic and back .... 8 days total

No need to be able to sail. The only must is a strong stomag, because, once on the way, there is no possibility to get off the ship, and the seaconditions can be rough.
We will do with the group a sea trial near Aruba, to explain some of the systems on board, so you will be helpful during the crossing. There will be done some cooking on board during the sailing.

Captain wants to see the greener grass at the other side of the mountain.

Apparently he found it.
